2. Raise The Minimum Wage

3. Universal Pre-K
The Strong Start For America's Children Act would fund a 10 year early childhood education initiative to expand early learning opportunities for children up to age 5. Learn more here.

Not only will Universal Pre-K prepare our kids to succeed academically and professionally
But it will also give working parents the flexibility to be able to contribute to their family's financial security
4. Quality Affordable Childcare
Under Senator Gillibrand's proposal, families would have the option to deduct the cost of child care expenses as a business expense. Her plan also includes an expanded Child and Dependent Care Credit, allowing low income families with little to no tax liability, to have access to a fully refundable tax credit to help mitigate the cost of child care. 5. Equal Pay
